Describe:The Gigabit Ethernet Physical Layer Transceiver (PHY) supports GMII/MII interfaces and complies with the AEC-Q100 automotive standard. This device is a fully integrated three-speed (10BASE-T/100BASE-TX/1000BASE-T) Ethernet physical layer transceiver, used for transmitting and receiving data on standard CAT-5 unshielded twisted-pair (UTP) cables. It provides industry-standard GMII/MII interfaces for connecting Gigabit Ethernet processors and switches' MACs, transmitting data at 10/100/1000 Mbps rates. By using on-chip termination resistors to achieve four differential pairs and integrating an LDO controller to drive low-cost MOSFETs to provide 1.2V core voltage, it reduces BOM costs and simplifies PCB layout. It has rich diagnostic functions, including LinkMD® cable diagnosis based on TDR, parameterized NAND tree support (detecting faults between I/O and the circuit board), remote/local loopback functions, facilitating system debugging and production testing. It is packaged in a 48-pin VQFN, operating within a temperature range of -40°C to +105°C, meeting the reliability requirements for automotive applications.
