Describe：The FT232HL is the fifth-generation single-channel USB 2.0 high-speed to multi-functional UART/FIFO interface chip launched by FTDI. It adopts a 48-pin LQFP package. This chip processes the complete USB protocol internally and does not require specific USB firmware programming. It can achieve the bridging function of USB to various serial/parallel interfaces. This chip is fully compatible with the USB 2.0 high-speed specification (480 Mb/s) and the full-speed specification (12 Mb/s). Its core feature is the built-in multi-protocol synchronous serial engine (MPSSE), which can be configured as JTAG, SPI (master mode), I²C or bit operation mode. It supports a UART data rate of up to 12 Mbaud, asynchronous 245 FIFO mode (8 Mbytes/second) and synchronous 245 parallel FIFO mode (40 Mbytes/second). This chip is highly integrated, featuring a 1.8V/3.3V LDO voltage regulator, power-on reset circuitry, and 12MHz crystal oscillator driver circuitry. It offers adjustable I/O drive strength (4/8/12/16mA) and an automatic TXDEN pin for enabling transmission (for RS485 applications). It supports self-powered, bus-powered, and high-power bus-powered configurations. The operating voltage ranges from 2.97V to 3.63V (for I/O) and 1.62V to 1.98V (for the core), and the I/O can withstand 5V levels.
