Describe：MAX5550ETE+ is a dual-channel, 10-bit, programmable, high-output current digital-to-analog converter (DAC) developed by ADI (Maxim). It features a 16-pin TQFN (3mm × 3mm) micro surface-mount package. This device is specifically designed for applications requiring high current drive, such as PIN diode biasing, RF attenuator control, and VCO tuning. Each DAC channel can provide an output current of up to 30mA. When the two outputs are connected in parallel, the current can reach 60mA. Its output is a buffered current type, with a typical setup time of 30µs. It supports single power supply ranging from 2.7V to 5.25V, and can choose either an internal (1.25V bandgap reference) or external reference source. This device adopts a selectable I²C/SPI serial interface with pins, facilitating connection with microcontrollers.
