Describe：This is a multifunctional chip that integrates a real-time clock (RTC), monitoring circuit and 512 bytes of EEPROM. It is packaged in SOIC-8 surface mount technology. It can provide precise timing, power monitoring and parameter storage functions for the system. It is a multi-functional timing solution with I²C interface. The RTC supports timing for one-hundredth of a second, seconds, minutes, hours, week, date, month and year. The leap year compensation is valid until 2100. The built-in programmable watchdog timer (with a step of 10 ms, ranging from 0.01 seconds to 99.99 seconds) can provide a reset signal for unresponsive microprocessors. It has an automatic power failure detection and switching circuit, which can switch to the backup power source (lithium button battery, rechargeable battery or super capacitor) in case of main power failure, and supports trickle charging function for charging rechargeable backup batteries.
